What if someone has lost or misplaced their benefit cheque?

General Rule: Replacement cheques can be issued on a case-by-case basis. Your client should contact their ODSP caseworker to ask if they are eligible for a replacement cheque.

Warning: If your client has recently moved, their cheque might be going to a previous address. Make sure that they provide ODSP with their updated contact information.

  • Help your client contact their caseworker and explain the circumstances of their lost or misplaced cheque.
  • Help your client contact their caseworker to update their contact information.
